Home Bldr is a home-construction checklist and project-tracking app for homeowners. It helps you track construction milestones, upload photos and videos, store documents, and manage personal project notes.

Your account and project data are stored using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) on behalf of Home Bldr.

Uploaded media and documents are associated with your user account and are not publicly listed by default.
We retain your account and project data while your account remains active. If you delete your account, we delete associated personal data from our primary systems as described below, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example, completed purchase receipts held by the app store).

You can permanently delete your Home Bldr account and associated app data by:
Deletion removes your Firebase Authentication account and associated Home Bldr user data we store (progress, notes/media metadata, documents metadata, and related files we control), subject to technical processing time and any legally required retention.
Home Bldr is intended for adults managing construction projects. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We use industry-standard safeguards provided by Firebase Authentication and cloud storage, including encrypted transit (HTTPS) and access controls tied to your signed-in account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your information may be processed in data centers used by our cloud providers, which may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations as needed to operate the service.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
